I tried to explain why I used so much energy to push the door open, but you weren’t interested. You see, I’ve waited outside here before, not realising the door was just stiff. I was witness to sparkly women neck drinks and watch a bride-to-be unwrap presents. The way a woman laughs can give an insightful notion of what she’s like in other areas: shrieking, cooing, some eye rolling or groaning. I thought it was just jammed, until you called, ‘It’s occupied’. You weren’t keen to hear my story, leaving the cubicle in such a fatal, furious manner.
